Best Western Plus Hotel St. Raphael

Once you walk inside the hotel, you can see how well the hotel is maintained and the staff are most helpful. There is a nice, cosy bar and another area inside to relax. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Also, the location is ideal to access the train and bus stations.

Hotel itself was just what we needed for a weekend break. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Reasonably priced with a small gym with adequate equipment.

Our stay at Hotel St. Raphael was great. The location next to the Hbf is very practical. It was very easy to get to the hotel and to travel around the city. It is just far away enough from the station for it to be pleasent (though I would not recommend walking alone from the Hbf to the hotel at night). The staff were very nice and quite helpful with giving us some directions. The room was on the small side, but lovely and clean, which made it perfect for a short buisness trip. All in all it was a good experiance and I will probably come again next time I am in Hamburg.

Every thing about the hotel is great. Location, location, location, just a few blocks from the main train station in Hamburg and many of the most important old construction are nearby, on the other side of the station. The hotel is in great shape, very clean, well kept and well appointed,too. We appreciate the free bottle of water that is so needed after a long trip. Our room was pretty large compared to others we have been in Europe. No AC but not needed, just opening the windows is enough. No noises , just a tranquil place. The staff also is great and is, to me , the most important asset this place has. Very welcoming people. I interacted the most with Mario, very nice man who was always ready to help with addresses and info about the city and the area. I am going on a cruise and I had a different hotel on my way back from it but I decided to make another reservation for another room here for I have felt so well that now I think this is best hotel in this area of Hamburg. I also interacted with Ms Pualsen who was also very nice to me

When checking in, I was greeted by a friendly and helpful receptionist named Grah. I mentioned that it was my birthday and was offered a free upgrade, a very nice gesture. The room was clean, and had a bluetooth stereo to use, a desk and comfy sofa. The location was good for public transport with 2 train stations, excellent restaurants / bars on Lange Reihe in close proximity.
